Prior to founding Charterland, Ian was the Senior Manager of the Quantity Surveying and Project Management section of the Property Consulting Division of Deloitte & Touche in the Caribbean. Originally from South Africa, he   resides permanently in the Cayman Islands where he holds Caymanian Status. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in the Construction Faculty. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying and eighteen years professional experience, practising in the Caribbean since January 2000. In the course of his career, Ian has been the chief project surveyor, providing traditional professional Quantity Surveying services and Project Management services on residential, commercial and civil projects in South Africa, the United Kingdom and throughout the Caribbean
